Good quality George III silver gilt and agate box Birmingham 1811 John Betteridge
This good quality George III silver gilt and agate box was made in Birmingham in 1811 by John Betteridge and measures 3 5/16 inches in length by 2.25 inches wide and is 0.75 inches deep, the sides are ribbed and hold remnants of their original gilding with the agate top and base most unusual in their figuration, it is fully hallmarked to the front inside edge and it is in very good condition.
