This good pair of crested George III silver feather edged gravy or stuffing spoons were made in London in 1768 by Thomas and William Chawner and measure 11.75 inches long, they are crested to the fronts with a lion rampant holding a cross and are bottom marked on the reverse, they have well formed bowls of good gauge and are in very good condition and weigh 7.15 ounces or 222 grams.
