This very nice cut cornered George II silver box was made in London in 1742 by Robert Collier and measures 2 5/8 inches in length by 1.75 inches wide and is 0.5 inches deep, it is nicely engraved to the concealed flush hinged lid where it also bears the name Richard Keey and is fully and clearly hallmarked inside to both the lid and base. It opens and closes well and is in very good condition, a nice quality box.
