This superb pair of Victorian silver Chinoiserie tea caddies were made in London in 1861 by George Fox and measure 5 inches to the finial by 3.25 inches wide and are 2 inches deep, they are copies in the style and decoration of George II Chinoiserie design with the decoration being well defined and the condition being excellent. They are fully and clearly hallmarked under the body and to the hinged lid rims, a lovely quality pair of caddies weighing 25 ounces or 776 grams.
