Good crested George III silver tea caddy London 1770 Pierre Gallois

This very pretty George III silver bombe shaped tea caddy was made in London in 1770 by specialist caddy maker Pierre Gallois and measures 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide and is 2.75 inches deep, it is beautifully decorated with belle flowers and acanthus leaves and has a pull off lid with a leaf and flower finial, the base is pierced with bead and scroll detailing and it is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base and to the lid rim with the lion passant and weighs 9.30 ounces or 291 grams.
