This superb set of 6 crested very large bright cut engraved George III Irish silver spoons were made in Dublin in 1790 by John Pittar and measure 9.75 inches in length, they are crested to the fronts with the Prince of Wales feathers and are fully bottom hallmarked to the backs of the stems and are in very good condition with the bowls being well formed with good tips and no signs of wear, a very nice set of larger than normal spoons weighing 14 ounces or 442 grams as useful as the day they were made.
