This lovely quality crested George III Scottish silver salver was made in Edinburgh in 1773 by Robert Clarke and measures 7.5 inches in dia and has a shaped acanthus leaf and scrolled border with the central crest of a wart hogs head, around this is a beautifully flat chased border with flower, foliage and fruit and it stands on 3 cast legs with hoofed feet and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the underside, a very nice salver in super condition weighing 9 ounces or 281 grams
