This lovely substantial George II silver hash spoon was made in London in 1755 by Marmaduke Daintry and measures 14.5 inches long and is free from engravings, it has a large well formed bowl with a double drop heel to the back of the bowl and is fully hallmarked to the back of the stem, the bowl is well formed and of good gauge and the spoon itself is in very good condition weighing 5.9 ounces or 183 grams.
