This armorial Queen Anne Britannia silver tazza was made in London in 1703 by William Gamble and measures 8.25 inches across the face by 2.5 inches tall, it has a raised rope work border which matches the trumpet foot and has a central coat of arms with crest above and is fully and clearly hallmarked on the face and with the lions head erased inside the foot. There is an old silver solder repair to the foot where it attaches to the body but nothing serious, a lovely tazza with a very nice colour and feel weighing 9.15 ounces or 285 grams.
