This early George II silver sparrow beak jug was made in London in 1728 by James Goodwin and measures 2.75 inches tall by 3 inches from handle to spout, it has a scrolled handle and drop detailing to the underside of the spout and bears the initials H over I*S under the base where it is clearly hallmarked, a lovely little jug weighing 2.15 ounces or 67 grams as useful as the day it was made.
