This Charles I silver seal top spoon was made in London in 1629 by Edward Hole and measures 6 3/8 inches in length and has a well defined seal to the top of the stem, it is fully hallmarked to the back of the stem and inside the bowl with the crowned leopards head, the bowl is well formed and the spoon is in very good condition weighing 1.25 ounces or 40 grams.
