This fine George II silver mug was made in London in 1729 by John Eckfourd Junior and measures 3.75 inches tall by almost 3 inches in dia across the top and 3 inches across the base and has a "tucked in" bottom with a baluster shaped body that has beautifully engraved double cypher initials inside an engraved round cartouche, the cast and scrolled handle has a plain thumb piece and it is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base and is in excellent condition weighing7.45 ounces or 232 grams.
