This lovely quality George II silver lemon strainer was made in London in 1734 unfortunately the makers marks is pierced out and is only a partial, it measures 7 1/8 inches handle to handle and is 1 inch tall and 3.5 inches in dia across the bowl. The nicely pierced handles are each marked with the lion passant and the piercing to the bowl is lovely, it is fully hallmarked inside the bowl and is in very good condition weighing 2.45 ounces or 76 grams.
