Good pair WILLIAM III Britannia silver mugs London 1701 Isaac Dighton

This nice quality pair of armorial William III Britannia silver mugs were made in London in 1701 by William Dighton and measure4 1/8 inches tall by 5 inches from the handle across and are 3 5/8 inches in dia across the bases. They have a lovely coat of arms to the fronts inside an oval cartouche that has florid decoration and fish scales around it, the bottom third of the mugs are spirally fluted with engravings above and there is a raised girdle approx one inch from the top that is punch engraved, the handles are scrolled with plain thumb pieces and the makers mark and they are fully and clearly hallmarked to the sides. A good quality pair of mugs weighing 18.20 ounces or 566 grams.
